Pedagogical Goals

The primary aim of the planned artistic activities is that the children andYoung people pursue a meaningful afternoon activity that improves their cognitive abilityskills as well as their gross and fine motor skills. The artistic activity is also offered out of the conviction that it can reduce stress and increase concentration
ability of the children and young people as well as their mothers can be aimed for.

Focus of the pedagogical work

The main pedagogical motivation behind the offer of artistic activities isin supporting children and young people who have been mentally impaired since the outbreak of the Covid-19Pandemic have suffered and are still suffering. During the lockdown, which lasted several months, many affected students were only able to participate in school life via a technical device, which particularly harmed the children and young people who had social contacts at schoolare dependent. In particular, the students from families with a refugee backgroundfaced the big problem that they had far too few opportunities, the Germanto learn and practice language. This helps ensure that the affected students
still struggling with large learning gaps and sometimes still not fluentable to speak German.
